The Scene

Wednesday, April 2, 2025

Hello, I am hoping for a lot more rain now that it is April. But let’s get into the news.

In the spotlight, Isabella Caswell previewed the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Film Festival starting on April 2. Sophia Arndt covered Goon Tribune, a local band that mixes jazz with contemporary rap and has an upcoming album. Sommer Wagen visited the Walker Art Center for one of its lecture nights featuring the owner of OddMart, Brad McGinty. Gabriel Brito interviewed local hyperpop SYM1 about her upcoming music video and her future plans.

I’ll see you next week at The Scene.
