Local celebrity chefs and athletes tackle food insecurity at new Plates and Playmakers charity event

Quincy Hall hosted its inaugural Plates and Playmakers charity event, headlined by professional athletes and chefs from across Minnesota, on July 9 in Northeast Minneapolis.
The event gathered celebrity guests, business leaders and sports icons, alongside the most celebrated chefs across the Twin Cities, to combat systemic hunger in Minnesota. Event donations went toward local food banks, including Every Meal, ICA Food Shelf and The Food Group.
