Hello Rouser readers! I don’t know if you’re like me, but I’m itching for the NBA playoffs to start! I hope you’re all as excited as I am to watch the Lakers win another championship. However, Gophers sports are plenty until they start. Recently, the gymnastics team made it to the regional finals before barely falling to UCLA. Volleyball and football are in full swing for their spring seasons, and head coach Medved has been working in the portal!

The Gophers women’s basketball ended their season last year without a championship, losing to Saint Louis University in the Women’s National Invitation Tournament finals.
However, they did not leave empty-handed this year. Redeeming their previous season’s loss, they beat Belmont University in the 2025 Women’s Basketball Invitational Tournament.
After an up-and-down season, the Gophers took home some hardware.
