Home2 Suites noise demonstration dispersed, University Avenue SE blocked off by police

A noise demonstration held outside of Home2 Suites by Hilton led to arrests and deployment of flares and tear gas on the crowd outside, according to video analyzed by the Minnesota Daily. For about an hour, more than 40 police officers secured University Avenue SE in front of the hotel.
As of 11 p.m., the road was no longer blocked off by police.
