Daily Breakdown
Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025
Hey Everyone,
This is Owen McDonnell, the Minnesota Daily’s video editor. It’s been a fun semester building a new desk from the ground up. Stories through visuals and interesting characters is what, in my opinion, make a video story shine. These past few months have been a great time finding these types of stories, both big and small, and bringing them to fruition.
Check out a few of the semester's highlights, which include stories on golf courses closing, the Edmund Fitzgerald and an American Ninja Warrior Club.
