Over 100 anti-President Donald Trump demonstrators gathered Monday in Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park in Minneapolis for a Labor Day “Workers’ Over Billionaires” rally.

Amanda Otero, an organizer with TakeAction Minnesota, said the rally opposes the billionaire agenda, which she said is influencing policy in ways that harm equitable access to health care, housing, education and civil rights.

“The billionaire agenda is looking at profits over people,” Otero said.

The rally was one of dozens across Minnesota and part of a national day of action, with around a thousand protests across the country, according to Workers’ Labor Day.
