Good morning, Vietnam.
How do you spend summer? Do you swirl and savor each day on your tongue like a stuck-up sommelier? Do you shuffle into your day job lab rat-style and count the days until your next paycheck? Are you scraping tally lines into the drywall?
I hope this email finds you comfortable no matter what transient state you currently reside in. Surely you’ll have time for some news. Breaking, that is. Let me get it off my chest. Two days ago, police blocked off 4th Street Southeast and 12th Avenue Southeast after reports of shots fired. In other news, (to your delight) Minneapolis Animal Care and Control launched a new plaque program, and our very own Abbey Murphy has been selected number two in the Professional Women’s Hockey League Draft. One more — you might also want to read our newest opinions piece on the war in Ukraine. Don’t miss it.
