Sept. 30, 2025
Good morning,
Spooky season approaches. With hordes of Oktoberfest ghouls proliferating in the streets, I suggest you hunker down for the inevitable with a pint of cider, a cozy sweater and some stories from our Arts and Opinions sections.
Today, the monkey’s paw brings you a story about a recurring painting/drinking event, an analysis piece on political violence and the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile. Keep scrolling to get a bite of the action.
Buenas,

Happy accidents at Paint & Sip Minnesota

The mezzanine at Inbound BrewCo buzzed with anticipation. Easels were set, brushes laid out, and guests sipped craft brews as they settled in for a sold-out Sept. 25 Paint & Sip session led by Lindsay Vincent.
Vincent is an artist whose warmth, theatrical flair and love for cartoon-inspired painting make her a standout instructor in Minnesota’s creative scene. She has been painting since childhood and doesn’t plan to stop anytime soon.
“Art was always my favorite class,” Vincent said. “I did a lot of painting in my spare time when I was younger, and I just never really stopped.”
