Daily Breakdown

Today marks a week of me going to sleep at two in the morning. I would not recommend this; however, it is the end of the semester, so I argue that my current sleeping habits are acceptable.
What is less acceptable is my studies slightly distracting me from the world around me. Luckily, the Daily always helps me stay in the loop. So take a scroll to stay in the loop.
Stay golden,

The University of Minnesota announced Michael A. Davis as the University’s next assistant vice president and chief of police, effective Jan. 12, 2026, according to a systemwide email on Tuesday.
The selection concludes a nine-month search for University officials, after former chief Matthew Clark resigned on May 1.
According to a University news release, Davis will oversee the University’s police department and work with all University campuses on policing matters.
“Davis will coordinate public safety for all University of Minnesota campuses and lead efforts to strengthen collaborative partnerships across the university,” the release read.
