How Julia Hanson started dominating the Gophers volleyball scoresheet

After seeing her neighbor tossing around a volleyball in the yard, senior Julia Hanson decided to give it a go.
What began as a spontaneous moment quickly turned into a passion strong enough to carry her through high school and club volleyball.
It was not long before the Savage, Minnesota, native caught the attention of numerous collegiate programs. When the offer came for Hanson to play at Minnesota, she did not hesitate to make her decision.
